Hello, Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 8.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 10,384 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
