Random thought, I'm originally from Omaha and Homes are going for about $288,400 on average. With a population of 10,384, Flowood is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
