Rent prices in Folsom getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Folsom? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $2279 for a studio which feels like a lot.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Highland Park and Maple Heights are perfectly safe.

As someone who moved here from Seattle, I can confirm most of this. The weather surprised me the most.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is check out the local Facebook groups for neighborhood info. Makes a big difference.

If you can afford it, Old Town is the best place to live. Period.
