Alright, Military spouse here. It's a a small town city with about 8,298 people. Median household income is $100,544, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Folsom sits at 142.5 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
