Hey folks, Been living here since 2024. Crime rate is something to consider -Fond du Lac sits at 312.0 per 100K. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
