Job market in Fontana for tech?

First post here. I relocated for work and Rent is about $1,733/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I'm a writer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in tech. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Cedar Grove. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Italian.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
