Thinking about relocating to Fontana from Houston

Hi all, Average temperature is around 62°F, so the weather is moderate. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 9 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
