Honest thoughts on life in Foothill Farms

Hello, The median home value here is around $368,500, which seems about average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Thoughts?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Minneapolis about 8 years ago. The main reasons were family and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is average.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Feel free to reach out with questions..
