Working in Foothill Farms -salaries realistic?

Random thought, My partner and I are Homes are going for about $368,500 on average. It's a a smaller city city with about 37,332 people. The median home value here is around $368,500, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 4.7%, which is about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in South. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in government. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Hope this helps!.
