OK so Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. It's a a small town city with about 1,762 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.
