Is Forest Glen getting better or worse?

Been meaning to ask this. It's a a small town city with about 6,650 people. Poverty rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Forest Glen sits at 356.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,553 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Forest Glen? Cheers. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 7 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
