Random thought, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $464,300, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,406 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Forest Grove sits at 207.5 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Not very walkable
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
- Chain restaurants dominate
Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
