Best companies to work for in Forest Hills?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $156,618, which feels pretty solid for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,950 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- The cost of living scene is improving

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.
