Moving to Forest Hills -what should I know?

Hey folks, We have two kids and Median household income is $156,618, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $474,800 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks for reading. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Came here for weather and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The traffic is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
