First post here. I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,172/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $163,200 on average. It's a a small town city with about 19,994 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
Pros:

- Growing food scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community
Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Lack of diversity
- Poor road conditions
- Limited cultural events
Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
