Job hunting in Forestdale -tips?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $150,700 on average. Median household income is $57,145, which feels about average for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? Thanks!

Moved here from Seattle about 7 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to cultural scene but Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the East side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if community vibe matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
