Quick question about Forestville

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Median household income is $80,028, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,694/month for a decent place. With a population of 10,839, Forestville is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What do you all think? Thanks! Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from New York about 7 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Close to major attractions
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is excellent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Definitely worth checking out..
