Forney in the winter -how bad?

Longtime lurker here, Median household income is $103,360, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $103,360 in Forney. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Thoughts?

Bought a house here in 2016 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Old Town. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
