Born and raised here. Homes are going for about $323,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Forney sits at 126.1 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
