Moving to Forney for work -advice?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. Rent is about $1,665/month for a decent place. Median household income is $103,360, which feels pretty solid for the area. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Portland it's hit or miss.
