Hey everyone, I work in construction and Crime rate is something to consider — Fort Collins sits at 217.1 per 100K. With a population of 170K, Fort Collins is a mid-size city. The median home value here is around $548,400, which is pretty steep. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Worth the trade-offs? Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
