The good and bad of living in Fort Collins

OK so I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 47°F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $548,400, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 5.6%, which is pretty low. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Cold winters
- Limited nightlife
- Lack of diversity
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Any help is appreciated. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up.
