Best areas to explore in Fort Lauderdale?

Military spouse here. With a population of 183K, Fort Lauderdale is a mid-size city. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
