I'm single, late 30s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Fort Lee sits at 376.4 per 100K. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
