The food scene here is tough. Tons of great Vietnamese places. the quality of life is solid.

Hot take but it's improved dramatically in recent years. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Used to live on the North side, now on the Lakewood side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely tough and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Springfield) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Fairview for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Close to major attractions
- The cultural scene scene is solid
The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..
