I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Boston about 12 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is solid.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
