Should I move to Fort Meade or stay in Kansas City?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $2,380/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $102,886 in Fort Meade. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this?

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in Highland for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- The cultural scene scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
