So, My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a small town city with about 10,332 people. Poverty rate is 6.3%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'm a writer and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is average and there's always something going on.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much affordable but now it's better than expected.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely challenging and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (West) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 12 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
