Thinking about relocating to Fort Pierce from Seattle

Hi all, I'm retired and Homes are going for about $220,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Fort Pierce sits at 555.8 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? TIA!
