What to expect moving to Fort Pierce?

First post here. I'm single, late 40s, and Rent is about $1,194/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 5.4%, which is about average. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I overthinking this? Appreciate any input.

Used to live on the Eastside side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
