OK so I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider — Fort Wayne sits at 361.6 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
