Most overrated things about Fort Worth
Born and raised here. Median household income is $76,602, which feels about average for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 9.6%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,412/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.
