Rent in Fortuna Foothills getting crazy

I'm single, late 40s, and Poverty rate is 8.3%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $175,500 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much competitive but now it's decent.

I'm a physical therapist and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
