Day-to-day life in Fosston, MN

Hey everyone, It's a a small town city with about 1,283 people. With a population of 1,283, Fosston is a small town. Poverty rate is 15.2%, which is higher than I expected. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..
