Anyone else love living in Foster City?

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 12 months ago and The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 32,964 people. With a population of 32,964, Foster City is a smaller city. Rent is about $3,501/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Friendly people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Lack of diversity
- Boring for young people
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
Am I wrong here? Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
