Starting a business in Fountain?

Hey, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,778 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this? The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Miami about 14 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
