Curious what people think. I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Fountain sits at 409.1 per 100K. Poverty rate is 5.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $374,600 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
