Curious what people think. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from San Diego about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is tough.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.
I've been here 6 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is hit or miss.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
