Top 5 things I love about Fowler

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 5 months ago and Rent is about $1,172/month for a decent place. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to San Diego it's decent.
