Relocating to Framingham, MA -pros and cons?

Hello, Poverty rate is 8.1%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $98,179 in Framingham. You can expect to pay around $1,853 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 72,013 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What would you do? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like seafood.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.
