Anyone else love living in Frankfort?
Hi all, I'm retired and Homes are going for about $461,600 on average. Median household income is $153,714, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Frankfort sits at 82.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
Pros:
- Friendly people
- Growing food scene
- Diverse community
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community
Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Limited cultural events
- Not enough green space
