Is it worth buying in Frankfort?
Alright, With a population of 28,452, Frankfort is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 15.8%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $935/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
