Starting a business in Frankfort?

Anyone else feel this way? It's a a smaller city city with about 28,452 people. Rent is about $935/month for a decent place. With a population of 28,452, Frankfort is a smaller city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've been living here for 9 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The community vibe is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 2 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Hope this helps!.
