Studio apartments in Franklin Center -options?

OK so I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Franklin Center sits at 21.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 5.0%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $2,588/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Close to nature
- Strong sense of community
- Active local events

Cons:
- High property taxes
- Lack of diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate
Am I wrong here? Thanks in advance! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in South. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in education. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Hope this helps!.
