Hi all, Homes are going for about $212,500 on average. Rent is about $1,127/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,999 people. You can expect to pay around $1,127 for rent here. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The weather is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Houston about 8 years ago. The main reasons were school and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are stable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Feel free to reach out with questions..
