Just moved to Franklin, any tips?

Longtime lurker here, You can expect to pay around $1,034 for rent here. Rent is about $1,034/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Highland area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Springfield for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Decent public transit for the size
- The housing market scene is solid

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
