Best neighborhoods in Franklin

Hey folks, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $58,134, which feels about average for the area. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in East for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- The food scene scene is decent

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2024 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
