Franklin job market vs Tucson

Curious what people think. Been living here since 2006. Homes are going for about $170,800 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The walkability is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely tough and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Sunset) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
