Job hunting in Franklin -tips?

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 12 years and Homes are going for about $170,800 on average. You can expect to pay around $976 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely better than expected and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Midtown) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
