Hello, I've been here for 14 years and Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I work in tech here and I have mixed feelings honestly. The job market for my field is underrated. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Affordable housing options
- The cultural scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
